JESSE SALMENAUTIO AND EZEQUIEL COMPANC IN FANATEC GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE SPRINT CUP
Madpanda Motorsport is pleased to confirm its Sprint Cup driver lineup: young driver Jesse Salmenautio and experienced GT driver Ezequiel Companc. The Finnish and Argentinean drivers will seek the Silver title of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup.
Jesse Salmenautio will make his debut in the GT world. He will discover the #90 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo as well as the renowned FGTWC championship. The 20-year old has experience in motorsport. After racing in single-seaters, he switched to prototype cars. All the experience gained in Formula 4 and LMP3 on many tracks will be the key to adapt easily to the GT3. Being also a highly versatile and adaptable driver, the transition should only be a formality.
Ezequiel Companc will be competing in his sixth full Sprint Cup season. After his victory last year in Valencia (as a reminder: Madpanda Motorsport did a one-shot in the Sprint Championship), the 28-year old wants more. To achieve his goals, he decided to bet on youth.
This very promising lineup, combining youth and experience, will appear on track for the first time at Brands Hatch. The opening race of the Sprint Cup will take place on the British circuit, located near London, on May 13 and 14.
About the Endurance Cup, which consists of five meetings (Monza, Paul Ricard, CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, Nürburgring and Barcelona), the lineup has not yet been finalized.
