FANATEC GT WORLD LINEUPS & HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THE 2023 SEASON

Madpanda Motorsport is pleased to welcome Magnus Gustavsen to our Fanatec GT World Endurance lineup, which closes the driver crews for both the Sprint & Endurance Cup assault this season. 

Ten race weekends, two championships and a bet on youth. Indeed, the Spanish team is set for their fourth season and decided to trust young drivers. Three of the four are under 23 years old (19, 20 and 22) and all without experience in Fanatec GT World. They will benefit from the experience of Ezequiel Companc, well known in the GT arena. Endurance Cup 
Alexey Nesov and Ezequiel Companc will team up with Magnus Gustavsen. Together, they will share the n•90 Mercedes-AMG GT3. The 22-year old Magnus will make his GT3 debut. Indeed, after gaining experience in Formula Nordic, STCC TCR Scandinavia, GT4 Scandinavia and Lamborghini SuperTrofeo, he is switching to GT3 cars. His experience as a driver coach in several cars will also be a strength.

Sprint Cup 
As previously announced, the young Jesse Salmenautio will drive alongside Ezequiel Companc in the 10 one-hour races of the Sprint championship. After several test days, the duo is ready to fight with the 11 other Silver Cup cars entered.

CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa 
The four Pandas will be at the start of the 75th edition of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. The team is ready to fight again for the category victory and a great overall position. The official test days will take place on May 23 and 24.

The duo and trio will compete for the Silver Cup titles as well as the Esports Fanatec GT Pro Series. It is now time for the final preparation before the official start of the 2023 season: the 3 hours of Monza on April 23 for the Endurance team and Brands Hatch on May 13/14 for the Sprint team.

This championship and the CrowdStrike 24 hours of Spa are a childhood dream for me and I feel more than ready to take on this new challenge. We have tested different GT3 cars over the last years to prepare for my first full season in GT3 and I feel confident going into the season together with the team in the Mercedes!"
