DOUBLE PODIUM IN ZANDVOORT & THIRD PLACE IN THE SPRINT CUP SILVER CHAMPIONSHIP

The culmination of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Sprint Cup unfolded amidst the ever-changing weather conditions of Zandvoort's dunes. Madpanda Motorsport wraps up its 2023 season with a great achievement: securing a double podium, attaining third place in both the Silver drivers and teams championships, and clinching second place in the combined standings (Endurance and Sprint).

For the last round of the year, the Argentinian and Finnish drivers showcased once again their competitiveness, achieving third-place finish in the first race and second-place in the season's final. Indeed, the duo stayed out of trouble and consistent, especially when heavy rain swept the track and cars were on slick tyres. Salmenautio and Companc engaged in nice on-track battles throughout the five Sprint rounds, resulting in seven podiums, three second-place finishes and four third-place finishes.

The Dutch event marked the conclusion of Madpanda Motorsport's 2023 season. The team is proud of its performance and its three GT3 rookie drivers, all of whom showed continuous improvement throughout each race weekend. Madpanda would also like to thank its crew, known for its strong pitstops, which have certainly contributed to its success throughout the season. Finally, the Spanish team would like to express gratitude to its fans for their constant and warm support.

Jesse Salmenautio, driver: "It's a pleasure to end the season with a double podium and secure third place in the Silver championship. Thanks to clean driving and excellent teamwork, we were able to gain positions in the race again. I learned a lot in my first season, racing against the best GT drivers in the world. Madpanda provided me a good platform to level up my racecraft and I'm really grateful about our cooperation this year. Huge thanks to everyone involved!"

Ezequiel Companc, driver and team principal: “It was an amazing weekend finishing with a double podium to wrap on our 2023 GT3 season. Jesse and the crew did a mega job to achieve these results. As a team, we can be very happy with what we have accomplished this year thanks to our hard work and preparation. All our drivers, both in Sprint & Endurance, have shown great potential and maturity throughout the year, doing a solid job in and out of the car. They should be proud of their first FGTWC season. Also a special thanks to all our fans who have supported us this year, both at the racetracks and on social media. We love you!”
